North London Penthouse

We have just completed the design package for this striking penthouse staircase, developed by Valouran. The brilliant interior designers at Gunter & Co envisioned this sculptural focal point featuring stone clad steps and a sleek glass balustrade. Our comprehensive design package includes detailed drawings, photorealistic renders and engineering input, along with a thorough feasibility check to ensure the staircase is not only beautiful, but fit for construction within the architectural constraints of the penthouse.

It's an bold, showstopping piece and we feel incredibly proud to be a part of this exciting development project.

Two Homes Turned One

This staircase is the heart of this home. After merging two properties into one, a spacious home was created. However, the central hallway remained tight, making meeting building regulations tricky. The architects at Tonic Architecture recognised this challenge and came to us to design a staircase that would fit.

Inspired by our Cobham project, the concept was clear, but adapting that design required careful planning and managing Clients’ expectations. Still, we made it work. Now ready for production, this project features walnut steps, a Beech, white stringer, steel, round spindles and a Walnut handrail. The Walnut starting post has a minimal design, but makes the stairs feel grand. This staircase will be a true feature, perfectly tailored to the space and the Clients’ vision.

South London Winding Stairs

This project is major. With three staircases, all different in design, it is a complicated undertaking. The main staircase is now in production and includes three flights of L-shaped oak steps supported by a wooden structure. The design vision from Harper Latter Architects and interior designers Gunter & Co is brought to life through sleek metal spindles with metal handrail side fixed to a metal stringer, making this a modern hybrid staircase. Integrated lighting will be installed directly into the stringers, with one light per step. Lifestyle Projects is the main contractor. We look forward to sharing more updates as this impressive build progresses.

South London Townhouse

We are proud to be working on our third project with main contractor Bascomb & Drew, who returned to us after our previous successful collaborations. For this project, we are replacing the existing stairs with a new winding staircase going up four flights. Architect Francesco Paolini is leading the design, which includes elegant, French Oak, L-shaped steps, a framework balustrade to be plastered and handrails on top of the frame and on the side. This creates a modern, clean aesthetic. The property and budget management team from Caroline Baker visited us during production to ensure everything remains on track. This ongoing partnership continuous to deliver quality and thoughtful designs.
