St Luke's House

This Chelsea townhouse staircase was a very challenging project. We were asked to design and create a staircase with continuous handrails on a cut string design. The lower level staircases are marble clad. This posed challenges as we had to work closely together with the stonemasons responsible for the marble steps.

The entire staircase is made from solid Beech, combined with steel spindles and a dark stained French Oak handrail.
The spindles are hand-finished in bespoke bronze patina by our artisan on site. As with all our projects, the handrail was French polished after
installation.
