The venture of this luxurious historical building in the heart of London began with a challenge presented by the Client's design team.
Contrary to the initial design intent and what you might think when looking at it, neither the stairs nor the balustrade has a steel structure; they are constructed from a timber framework. The staircase is clad with timber treads and risers, and the balustrade is finished with polished plaster.
