A toast to 2023 and all of its amazing projects
As we bid farewell to 2023, we can't help but reflect on all of the incredible projects that we have done. It has been a year of innovation, creativity and the successful completion of some truly inspiring projects.
Join us as we take a step back and celebrate the highlights of the past twelve months.
Historical London Appartment
This luxurious historical building in the heart of London now has a solid panel balustrade staircase, with floorboard-covered treads and risers.
Contrary to the initial design intent and what you might think when looking at it, the balustrade has no steel structure, but is constructed from a timber framework and finished with polished plaster.
It was an honour to work on this project.

Guildford Soulspace and Restaurant
One project that really stands out is the Guildford Boathouse Café, a magnificent place to eat, relax, reflect, ...
The whole place, including the new, naturally stained wooden staircases with black steel spindles, breathes simplicity and draws on the nature and heritage of the English riverside.

London Mews House
This Marylebone-based project has a double-quarter turn staircase with fully curved balustrade side running from Ground down to the living room Basement floor.
Its spiral nature not only saves space but also creates an intriguing visual focal point that draws the eye upward, adding a sense of grandeur to the compact space.
We hope for more mews houses in 2024!

Mayfair Penthouse
2023 was a year where we pushed the boundaries of staircase design, blending aesthetics with functionality to create staircases that not only elevate spaces but also tell a unique story.
This extraordinary design combines the timeless elegance of a solid panel balustrade with the luxurious texture and warmth of leather, resulting in a truly remarkable centrepiece for this Mayfair penthouse.

Blackheath Residence
A challenging project, this one. Only one staircase to replace with a new one, but matching the existing cut stringer staircases from Basement to First Floor.
We are very happy with the end result.
The skylight at the top of the staircase brings extra light all the way down.
The cherry on top is definitely the chandelier, which complements the style of the staircases and descends ever so gracefully alongside them.

Surrey Hills Home
The design brief for a contemporary reinterpretation of a wooden staircase and love for light, led to the zigzag staircase with glass balustrade fitted without visible fixings for a seamless flow.
It was not only important to have an aesthetically beautiful staircase but more so to overcome many structural challenges.
The staircases are fully self-supporting, timber-constructed, and stained in situ to perfectly match the wooden floors for a truly stunning outcome.
